As ground spices like this become stale quite quickly, it should be used within 6 months. As cayenne pepper is hot on the taste buds, it is reccomended to be used sparingly while in cooking to prevent the cayenne from overpowering the dish. This product can be used in Mexican food for its sauces, meat marinades, or dishes like fajitas, or also in egg dishes like devilled eggs, omelettes, soufflés, Asian food like Indian curries or Thai soups, meats and stews, casseroles and cheese dishes.
